Convair 580

The Convair 580 is a turboprop version of the highly successful Convair 340/440 series of passenger and freighter aircraft. Possessing all the proven attributes of its predecessor, the aircraft offers turbine reliability, improved fuel availability, and improved performance. The aircraft also features upgraded engines and propellers, an enlarged vertical fin and modified horizontal stabilizers.
The Convair 580 & Convair 640 were flown primarily by the Charter Division of Time Air during their tenure with the airline.
